Reserve Your Space Now!

The museum has morning, mid-day and late-day time slots available as shown below. Just click on any open time slot and fill out the reservation form. You will receive an initial automatic email confirmation with your reservation code. Once your reservation is confirmed, the program manager will send you a second confirmation via email.

NOTE: We list our timeslots in shifts rather than by specific appointment time.  Just like the real railroad, Guest Operation is subject to the other operations on our trolley line, and these activities may cause some Guest Operation trips to fall behind schedule.  We appreciate your understanding and will make every effort to accommodate Guest Operators as efficiently as possible.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Guest Operators must be members of the Museum at the time of their guest operator session. If you are not already a member, a one-year membership is included in the guest operator fee.

Reservations are required, paid in full via our online system, or by mailing in a check or money order, or credit card over the phone. Advance payment is required at least 48 hours before the scheduled guest operator session.  We can not accept walk-in’s for guest operator events.

If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the scheduled session date, you may elect to have your guest operator fee fully refunded, or you may apply it to a future guest operator reservation for up to one year. After the 48 hour deadline has passed you may only apply your payment to a future reservation for up to one year.  Your membership fee of $25 is non-refundable.

If your guest operator reservation is canceled by the Museum for any reason, such as bad weather, insufficient equipment or staffing problems, you are entitled to a full refund of your reservation and dues which you may have paid. You may also elect to accept a credit for a future guest operator session.   Please note that all cars may not be available on any given date, we reserve the right to substitute cars if necessary.

If you have a gift certificate for a guest operator session please indicate this at the time of booking your reservation. No additional payment will be required in this case, as the full amount is pre-paid.
