The museum operates along the former right of way of the Connecticut Company, the main streetcar operator in the state between 1907 and 1948. Travel back in time as the trolley glides over the tracks. Hear the nostalgic sound of steel wheels clinking on the rails, breathe in the fresh aroma of the shoreline salt marsh, and watch for local wildlife like majestic ospreys.

Children will love participating in the experience, as they help the Motorman prepare the trolley for its journey. During your ride, the operator will share insights about the trolleys in our collection, explaining how these incredible machines helped shape American cities and transportation as we know it today.
The line is about 1.5 miles long and runs between the towns of East Haven and Branford, Connecticut.
