September 19 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm EDT

It is time for the annual fall river clean up of the Farm River Estuary!
It is time for the annual fall river clean up of the Farm River Estuary!

We will be working from  12:30 to 2:30 pm.

We have different places where you can launch a kayak or canoe: Curt Johnson’s dock at 53 Jefferson Place in Branford, the Farm River State Park Marina (off Mansfield Grove Road in East Haven), or if you live on the river, from your own yard!

Please RSVP so that we know how many people are coming and where to guide you for the launching site.  We can only park about 8 cars at Curt’s house.

We can also take a few people who do not have their own watercraft.

Please remember to bring your own mask, water, sun protection, work gloves, waders or high boots, “grabbers,”etc.

Save the Sound will be providing some thin plastic gloves, and the garbage bags.

We will be practicing social distancing, and other COVID prevention techniques as appropriate.

This is a great way to spend an afternoon!

Any questions, please text me at 203-988-6484.

Thank you, and please RSVP
