Join us at the Ribbon-Cutting!

November 7, 2013

Be a witness to trolley museum history on Saturday, November 16.  At 11:30 AM we’ll cut the ribbon and dedicate the first building of Elevating the Collection!

The Shore Line Trolley Museum is proud to invite its members, community supporters, and interested members of the public to our ribbon cutting and dedication for the new Elevating the Collection project.  Join museum leaders, construction representatives and local elected officials as we celebrate the completion of new Trolley Storage Building 1 at an elevation of 13 feet above sea level – above the 500 year flood stage!

After the dedication, take a guided tour of new Buildings 1 & 2, which will each be able to house roughly 18 trolley cars under roof cover at this high elevation.  Light refreshments will be served.  Trolley car shuttle service will be provided before and after from Sprague Station, 17 River Street, East Haven.

For more information on Elevating the Collection, visit www.elevatingthecollection.org or contact Nathan Nietering, Museum Director at info@shorelinetrolley.org.
